Reuben E. 'Reub' was born April 3, 1935 in Anderson, S.C. He died August 12, 2005. He was the son of Willie and Flossie; brother to Carl, Ben, and Joanne, who preceded him in death. He is survived by his brother Johnny Joe Nelson 'Pete' (Sandra G.) Ivester, of Boston, MA. Russell, his beloved wife of 46 years within that union children; Renault (Antonya) of Aurora, CO., Rikwan, and Rottowa (Patricia A.) both of Denver, CO. 4 grandchildren; 2 step-grandchildren; and 1 great granddaughter; 1 step- great gr nieces, nephews and a host of other relatives. He was an adoring friend to many. For all those whom have ever had an opportunity to meet Mr. Reuben E. Ivester, they too have been blessed. Reuben was genuine in all he aspired to do in his natural life. He had many accomplishments, such as the marriage of his wife Russell McGinnis Ivester, the births of his 3 beautiful children. To his children he is their Superman, a Modern Day Warrior. Other accomplishments include being retired from the United States Air Force after serving 24 years. And also retiring for the United States Post Office, after 19 years. Reuben loved spending time with his family, camping, cruising, fishing, and boating. The family is not limited to his immediate family as each friend that 'Reub' had was part of the family. In his spare time of retirement Reub enjoyed a game of golf or two and using his knowledge of the computer.
