Rhea Marie Sparks, age 54, gained her wings February 23, 2023 in her home after a 13 year battle with cancer. Rhea was born on June 9th, 1968 to Barbara Hallenbeck of Thornton, Colorado. Born into a family of grocers, Rhea was introduced to what would become her successful career path at a very early age. She went to work for Albertson's grocery stores at the age of 16, and remained with the company as a valued leader until her retirement at age 47 with over 3 decades. The number of people whose career and lives were forever impacted by working for or with Rhea is unmeasurable. Many lifelong friends and relationships were formed during Rhea's time at Albertsons. Rhea was passionate about life. She loved all things adventurous and outdoors. "Her greatest passions were photography, camping, water sports, gardening, wood working and cars. Rhea loved the beach, with Key West being a favorite destination. Lake life was cherished, with large family camping trips that included boats, jet skiing and wakeboarding. Rhea will be greeted in Paradise by those who went before her. She will be with some of the ones she loved the most, her grandparents, uncle, cousin and her pups, Havanna, Polar, Tanika and Tanada. Rhea leaves behind Suzanne Bergmann, her partner of 30 years. Suzanne's daughter Cassandra Davidson, and her grandson, Rhea's best “Buddyboo” Mason Davidson; Her mother Barb Hallenbeck of Westminster Co; Brother Ron Sparks (Lisa), Parker, Co; Brother Dan Sparks (Shauna), Aurora, Co;. Nieces, nephews, friends and furry companions. A celebration of Life will be held for Rhea on March 4th, 2023 at 11:00 am, reception to follow.
