Richard “Dick” Alberico, 82, of Golden, Colorado.
Dick was born in Joliet, Illinois in 1940 on Christmas Eve. He passed peacefully with his children by his side on November 8, 2023.
Dick was preceded in death by his wife Geraldine “Geri” the love of his life.
Survived by daughters: Kim (Tom) Higgins, Danette (Bobby) Stuckey and son Rich Alberico. Grandchildren: Bryan (Brandy Golob) Alley, Morgan Alberico and Nicole (Joseph) Sanchez. Great grandchildren: Montana and Sierra Sanchez. His loving sisters: Arlene Packley and Geri McGinn.
Dick is a legend in the sign industry, owning Ad-Co Signs. He is most known for his western art murals on the Jolly Rancher Candy semi trailers.
Words describing Dick are…genuine, kind, warm, strong, respected, handsome and of course, beyond talented.
He will be missed more than words can describe…
Funeral service will be held Friday, November 17, 2023, 12:30pm, Horan & McConaty Family Chapel, 3101 S. Wadsworth Blvd., Lakewood, followed by burial at Mount Olivet Cemetery in Wheat Ridge at 2pm.
