Richard Clark

April 16, 1929 — November 9, 2019

Richard P. Clark, 90, passed away November 9, 2019. He was born April 16, 1929, in Gillette, WY to Glenn & Harriett Clark. Richard's wife of 60 years, Jo Dubois Clark, died in March 2017. Richard is survived by his children: Cindy Clark (Gerri Stirlacci), Peter Clark (Mark Croteau), and Susie Hubbuck (Dean), as well as his three grandchildren: Melanie Stephanus (Nate), Sam Hubbuck (Christa), and Nick Hubbuck (Tina Muscarelli). Richard is also survived by his sister Bonnie Jean Nigh of Pagosa Springs, CO; brothers-in-law William Dubois (Marcy Helser) of Cheyenne, and Thomas Dubois (Anne) of Hampden, Maine, and sister-in-law Susan Price (Roger) of Portland, OR; as well as many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.

After high school and business school, Richard enlisted in the U.S. Army, where he served in the Korean War on the front lines as a Master Sergeant. After his military service, Richard attended the University of Wyoming, where he met his future wife. Upon graduation he went to work for Chicago, Bridge & Iron (CBI) as a civil design engineer. He was an Indian Guides leader and a Boy Scout leader. Richard enjoyed fishing, woodworking and travel. After his retirement from CBI, Rich & Jo moved to Ft. Collins, where they lived happily for 25 years. Throughout their lives together, they traveled to almost every state and several foreign countries. They were members of Harmony Presbyterian Church. In 2016 Rich & Jo moved to Covenant Living in Westminster, CO.

There will be a Memorial Service held Saturday, December 14, 2019, at 2:00 pm at Covenant Living of Colorado, 9153 Yarrow Street, Westminster, CO 80021, in the Smith Fellowship Hall.

Memorial contributions may be made in Richard's memory to the Covenant Living Benevolence Fund.
