Eriksen – Richard Waldemar

October 25, 1931 – November 2, 2019

It is with sadness that we announce that Richard Waldemar Eriksen (Dick) has passed away. He is survived by his wife of 65 years, Donna, sons Rick (Lark), Steve (Catherine), Greg and daughter Karen (Jack), grandchildren Stephanie (Robert), Joel (Gloria), Timothy, Linsie (Andy), Kyle, Kelsey, Skylar (Brittany) and Kayla, great grandchildren, Sophie, Mark, Timothy, Jackie, Jensen, Alan and Oliver, and sisters Delores, Glenis and Pat. Dick and Donna were married in California on February 14, 1954. They moved to Colorado and raised their family there. In the early 70's, Dick moved his family to Hawaii where they lived for 11 years. He loved his work as a master carpenter and served many people through his vast knowledge of construction and excellence of skill. Throughout his life, Dick modeled to his children how to love their spouses by the way he loved their mom. He set an example for his children in everything he did including his love for his Lord Jesus. He loved visiting with their many friends and always brought joy to every conversation. He was rarely seen without a cup of coffee in his hand. You are missed...so very missed.

In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting donations go to the Alzheimer's Association.

Celebration of Life services will be held at Bethel Lutheran Church, 1450 Buckley Rd., Aurora, Colorado 80011, on Saturday November 23, 2019 at 11:00 AM.
