Richard Earl Hawkins

Chief Master Sgt. Richard Earl Hawkins, U.S. Air Force (retired), age 90, of Aurora, Colorado, passed away February 17, 2016. He was born May 22, 1925 in Chicago, Illinois to Richard Earl and Margaret Mary Lamping Hawkins. Richard served in the U.S. Air Force during WW II, the Korean conflict and the Vietnam War. Richard was preceded in death by his wife of 65 years, Doris Hawkins in 2013. He is survived by their daughters, Pamela Hawkins, Terrie Hawkins-Fulton and Kathleen Hawkins; 6 grandchildren; and 8 great-grandchildren. A Graveside service will be held at Fort Logan National Cemetery, Wednesday, Feb. 24th, 10:30 am, Area 'B', 3698 South Sheridan Blvd., Denver. Memorial Donations suggested to: VFW Post #3631 18545 E.
