Richard Harold Hicks

Richard Harold Hicks passed on September 25, 2010 at the age of 84. He is survived by his brother, sister, children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren. He attended Lakewood High School and then enlisted in the United States Merchant Marine in 1944. After serving his country, he returned to Colorado. He worked for United Air Lines starting as a baggage handler on the ramp and retired at age 55 as a Radio and Electronics Technician. After retirement, he spent many winters in Hawaii golfing, painting and enjoying the sun with his wife, who preceded him in death. He loved his family and friends and will be missed by all.
