Richard Roy Holsclaw

Richard Roy Holsclaw was born on April 19, 1941 to Roy and Margaret Holsclaw at St. Anthony's Hospital in Denver, and passed away October 17th, 2015. Richard was a graduate of East Denver High School and Colorado State University. He was in Mortgage Banking, was instrumental in the success of several mortgage companies and was awarded Entrepreneur Of the Year by the CMLA. Richard was preceded in death by his parents Roy and Margaret Holsclaw, sons Wade Holsclaw and Jason Amator. He is survived by his wife Karen Holsclaw of the home, daughter Jeannie Baldwin (Rick), daughter Joanne Stewart (Terrence), son Jerrod Amator (Sherry), daughter Danielle Gotto (Tony), daughter Jaclyn Teresi, brother William Holsclaw (Susan), sister Geri Hart (Keith), and sister Glena Bowen. He is also survived by 18 grandchildren: Richard, Duane Jr, Virignia, Tyler, Seth, Wyatt, Morgan, Tyler, Kylee, Kaitlynn, Dylan, Kyndel, Peyton, Paige, Jaidyn, Kinley, Sidney, Nicholas and Dylan as well as 6 great-grandchildren: Errin, Hailey, Lily, Pu'u, Malcolm and Saybre Ann. A service will be held for Richard on Friday, October 23rd at 11:00am at Horan and McConaty, 11150 E. Dartmouth Avenue, Aurora, Co. 80014 In lieu of flowers, donations in Richard's name can be made to the American Cancer Society at www.cancer.org
