Richard Kaplan

Richard Lee Kaplan, 83, passed away on December 10, 2020 in Denver, Colorado. Richard was born to Paul Virgil Kaplan and Helen Ann Lewis on December 21,1936 in Rockwell, Iowa.

After he graduated from high school Richard went on to earn a bachelor’s degree and became a chemist. He loved his family, friends and classic cars.  Richard was always willing to lend a helping hand.

Richard is survived by his son Damon Kaplan; daughter Karrie Kaplan; grandchildren Kenzi, Jordan, and Logan; siblings Jack (Rhonnie) Kaplan, Larry (Linda) Kaplan, Mary (John) Bond and sister-in-law Loretta Kaplan.

Richard was preceded in death by his wife Myra Nell Kaplan; parents Paul and Helen Kaplan; and brothers Don and Paul Kaplan.

In lieu of flowers, please make a memorial donation to one of Richard’s favorite charities National Multiple Sclerosis Society, Denver Rescue Mission and American Cancer Society.
