Richard Marshall Clark, age 39, of Colorado, passed away on December 12th, 2024 at home after bravely battling colon cancer. Richard was a devoted husband to his beloved wife, Cynthia Clark (nee Lokaitis), whom he married in November 2020. Overall, they shared 10 years of love and partnership, and his passing leaves a profound void in her life.
Born on June 27th ,1985 in Planation, Florida Richard was the son of Brad and Amy Clark. He grew up with a love for adventure, excelling in sports such as hockey and competitive paintball from a young age. Richard graduated from South Plantation High School in 2004 and later attended Full Sail University to pursue his passions and interests.
Richard's love for speed took many forms, from racing cars to his true passion-motorcycles. He was an avid rider, a regular at the Sturgis Motorcycle Rally and participated in the annual Toys for Tots motorcycle parade benefiting Children's Hospital. His enthusiasm for motorcycles was matched only by his deep appreciation for gun collecting an activity that brought him great joy and was a testament to his dedication and craftmanship.
A man who found peace in nature, Richard's love for the outdoors began with fishing in Florida in his youth. Upon moving to Colorado, he embraced hiking and camping, immersing himself in the beauty of his surroundings. He was also an ardent music lover, particularly drawn to the raw energy of screamo bands.
Professionally, Richard was the kitchen manager at Bubba's 33, a position he was immensely proud of. His leadership in the kitchen was marked by his strong work ethic, dedication, and commitment to excellence. Richard's colleagues admired his professionalism and the positive energy he brought to the workplace.
Richard's determination, strength, and positive energy shaped his life and those around him. He was known for his unwavering support of family and friends, always ready to lend a helping hand or offer a kind word. His legacy of love, resilience and enthusiasm for life will continue to inspire all who knew him.
Richard leaves behind his parents, Brad and Amy Clark: his wife, Cynthia Clark, and countless friends and family who will miss him dearly. In remembering Richard, we honor the spirit of adventure, loyalty, and love that embodied him. Though he is no longer with us, his memory will live on in the hearts of all who were fortunate enough to know him.
Rest in peace, Richard. Your spirit will forever live on through the love and lives you touched.
