Richard C. Montgomery

Richard C. Montgomery passed away peacefully at Swedish Medical Center the morning of July 5, 2015 after a brief illness that then pushed his COPD beyond his ability to recover. He is survived by his beautiful wife of 50 yrs, Margaret Anne Boals Montgomery; his children Jennifer Burry, Katherine Homan and Richard A. Montgomery; 8 grandchildren and 1 great granddaughter with another one on the way. We believe he was welcomed into heaven by his daughter, Mary Smith and his great grandson who both recently passed within the past 12 months. A memorial reception to celebrate his life and share memories will be held on Saturday July 18, 2015 at 1 pm at the Horan & McConaty funeral home, 3101 S. Wadsworth Blvd in Lakewood. A light lunch will be provided.
