Richard Michael Rossin passed away at his home on February 24, 2025 in Frederick, CO at the age of 80. Born on August 22 1944 in Winona, MN to Rose & George Rossin. Richard had 3 brothers and 2 sisters. He attended St. Stanis Laus Basilica Catholic School.
At the age of 18 he enlisted in the Army and served our country in the Vietnam War. He was then stationed in Colorado in 1967 where he met and married the love of his life Patricia and they started their family.
He was a proud truck driver for the Union for many years. His passions were hunting, fishing, camping and watch football on Sundays with his family. Side note the Denver Broncos were his #1 team.
Richard retired at the young age of 50. Soon after his retirement he took on the roll of looking after his grandchildren and being the perfect man for them to look up to.
Richard was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather, uncle and friend.
Richard is survived by his wife Patricia, 3 sons Lonnie, Phillip, Jeromey (wife Jackie) and 1 daughter Kelly Prentiss (husband Paul). 5 grandchildren Samantha Morin (husband Frankie), Marissa, Ryan, Maeghan and Haley. Along with 5 great grandchildren Kaiden, Oliver, Nikolai, Elijah, and the 1st great granddaughter on the way.
A viewing will be held on Thursday March 6, 2025 from 10-11am and the services will be from 11am-12pm at Horan & McConaty Funeral Home, 9998 Grant St. Thornton, CO 80229
Interment will be held at Ft. Logan National Cemetery in Denver, CO.
