Richard Santoya

Richard Santoya age 81, went home to glory on April 15, 2024. He was surrounded by his loving family at his home in Thornton, Colorado. He was born on July 27, 1942 in Denver, Colorado.

Richard is survived by his loving wife, Frances; daughter Kathy (John) Hatcher; stepson, Gary (Janel) Penaflor; ten grandchildren and four great grandchildren. He is also survived by several siblings, Raymond, Robert, Carmen, Linda, Mary Ellen, and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. He is preceded in death by his daughter, Louisa Victoria Sharman and his parents Raymond and Paula; his siblings, Leo, Henry, little Bobby, Jessie, Mary, Phyllis, and Jenny. 

The viewing will be held on Tuesday, May 7, 2024 from 10:00am to 11:00am, Funeral Service 11:00am, both will be held at Horan & McConaty Funeral Home (9998 Grant St., Thornton, CO 80229). Graveside service will follow at 12:30 pm at Olinger Highland Cemetery. Please join the family for a reception at 1:00 pm VFW Post 7945 (10217 Quivas St., Thornton, CO 80260).
