Richard H. Seno

Richard, age 84, was born in Denver and quietly passed away at his Castle Rock home on February 11th after a courageous battle with pancreatic cancer. He is preceded in death by his parents Louis and Rose; brother Roland; sister Louise; and first wife Louise Smart-Seno. Richard is survived by his wife Susan; his children Roland (Patti), George, Regina Seno-Kessler (Dennis), Becky (Steve), Rob, Casey (Lezlie), Kelly (Jenny), Michael (Debbie); his grandchildren Amber, Katie, Laura, Chad, Tyler, Shannon, Sarah, Bonnie, Brenda, Joey, Travis, Trey, Trevor, and Lexie; and four great-granddaughters. Richard grew up in Chicago, served in World War II, and received his Masters in Education from Denver University. He loved children and devoted 37 years of his life to them as a Denver Public Schools teacher and principal. Recitation of the Rosary will be held Tuesday, February 16, 2010, 6:30 p.m, at Horan & McConaty Family Chapel, 5303 East County Line Road (one block to the east of Holly Street), in Centennial, Colorado. Funeral Mass will be held Wednesday, February 17, 2010, 10:30 a.m., at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Catholic Church, 3549 Navajo Street, in Denver, Colorado. In lieu of flowers, donations are suggested to the Rocky Mountain Cancer Society, 22 West Dry Creek Circle, Littleton, Colorado 80120.
