Richard F. Smith

Richard F. Smith of Lakewood, formerly of Evergreen CO, passed away August 23, 2010. He was the eldest son of L. F. Smith & Catherine M. Smith, born July 21, 1918 in Bonneauville, PA. Interment at Ft. Logan National Cemetery, Thursday, September 16, 2010 at 10:30 a.m., Area B. Smitty retired from the G.S.A. in Denver. Dick & Mary enjoyed bowling, fishing, golf, camping and traveling the USA. Dick was a member of American Legion Post #1 for over 50 years and the Knights of Columbus. He is survived by Mary, wife of 66 years; brother William Smith Sr. & family; sister Mary Mathews; and children of deceased siblings Raymond Smith, Teresa Shanebrook, Helen Cease, Patti & Ron Richards, Nancie & Matt Araki & family. Donations to Mother Cabrini Shrine, St. Joseph Worker Church of Bonneauville, PA or St. Jude Children's Hospital in Memphis.
