Richard Strickland

67, passed away on December 27, 2010 from complications following back surgery. He is survived by his mother, Peggy L. Strickland; sister, Carolyn Butterwick, and Bill's wife, Carol Landler Strickland. Dick was a loving uncle and great uncle to many nieces and nephews. He was a member of Christ the King Episcopal Church and the Optimist Club of Lakewood. A Memorial Service will be held on Friday, December 31 at 11:00 A.M. at Horan & McConaty Family Chapel, 5303 East County Line Road, Centennial 80122. A private interment service will be held at St. John's Episcopal Cathedral. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to the National Kidney Foundation/Colorado Branch, in honor of Dick Strickland, 650 South Cherry Street, #435, Denver, Colorado 80246, or to the Diver's Alert Network, P.O. Box 61479, Durham, North Carolina 27715-1479.
