Richard C. Youll, 91, of Lakewood, Colorado died December 20, 2010 at his home. He was born June 21, 1919, in Wymore Nebraska, the son of the late Gladys and Burnie Youll. He graduated from East High School in Denver, Colorado and attended Colorado University and Denver University. Mr. Youll, (Doc), served in the United States Army Air Corps as a Tactical Reconnaissance Pilot during WWII where he earned the Distinguished Flying Cross. He retired from the State of Colorado as a right-of-way agent for the Department of Highways. He is survived by his son and daughter-in-law, Christopher and Jill Youll, of Lakewood, CO; son and daughter-in-law, Richard and Karen Youll, of Lakewood, CO; grandchildren, Logan and Ali Youll, of Lakewood, CO.; and sister, Pat Brown, of Santa Barbara, CA. Mr. Youll was preceded in death by his wife, Melba. A private service will be held at Fort Logan National Cemetery.
