Richard “Dick” Andrews, 85, of Littleton, CO, formerly of Franklin, PA, for thirty-seven years, passed away on August 23, 2020. He was born on March 12, 1935 in Franklin, PA to the late Belle and Chauncey Andrews. Dick’s love for his family and friends was closely followed by his love for racing and golf, a passion he carried throughout his life and shared with his family. Along his journey of life, he was a veteran of the US Army and became a self-taught “Macgyver” at home and at work, rebuilding automobiles and troubleshooting manufacturing systems throughout the world. His integrity, work ethic, strength of character and desire to help others was unsurpassed and continues to be a guiding light for his family and friends.
Dick was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Jane Andrews and brother Don Andrews. Those who remain to cherish his memory include his children Scott (Pam) Andrews and Vicki Andrews; grandchildren Stephanie (Alex) Foos, Zachary Andrews, Tyler Schweim, Lindsey Schweim and Ashley Schweim; great grandchildren Hudson Foos and Gabriella Garcia. A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, September 19, 2020 at 10:00am at Horan & McConaty Family Chapel, 5303 East County Line Road (one block west of South Holly Street), Centennial, CO 80122.
