Ricky Doukakis

Ricky was born May 31, 1983 in Denver, CO and lived most of his life in Highlands Ranch. He attended ThunderRidge and Machebeuf High Schools and graduated in 2007 with a business degree from Baylor University. He passed away January 22, 2010 in Waco, Texas and is survived by his dad and mom, Rick & Mary Ellen, his sister Kristen, grandmother Maxine Spruce and many special relatives and friends. Ricky was a loving, sensitive, passionate, free-spirited, beautiful young man that will be truly missed by his family and friends. He lived life each and everyday to its fullest and without regret. His smile could light up a room and his laughter brought joy to those who knew him. He loved playing sports, watching his ""D-Nuggs"" play, spending time with his friends, debating any issue and simply enjoying all that life had to offer. Ricky is in a better place now but will forever be loved by his family and friends and admired for his generous, softhearted and sensitive qualities. Visitation will be held Friday, January 29, from 5 - 6 PM followed by a Vigil service at 6 PM, both at Horan & McConaty, 5303 East County Line Road (one block to the west of Holly Street), in Centennial, Colorado. Funeral Mass will be held Saturday, January 30, at 10:30 AM at Pax Christi Catholic Church, 5761 McArthur Ranch Road, in Littleton Colorado. Interment follows at Chapel Hill Cemetery, 6601 Colorado Boulevard, in Littleton, Colorado. In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Ricky may be made to your favorite charity.
