Rita O'Hara

Rita O'Hara, of Denver, went home to be with the Lord on September 20, 2021. Rita was preceded in death by her Father, Joe Albert Marez, Mother, Jennie Zuniga Mares; brother, Steven R. Lopez, sister, Kathryn P. Lopez and nephew Shawn Hendrix.  She is survived by her siblings,  Jeannette J. Walton (Scott), Bill A. Mares (Robyn) ,  Stephanie Sherrice Chavez (Dwayne), Anthony Hendrix (Corean),  several nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews.

Rita devoted 25 years of her life to mission work. Her last mission was in Chiang Mai, Thailand.  She was an active member of Cherry Hills Community Church. Rita enjoyed  traveling, going to movies, the theatre and spending time with family and friends.

A Memorial service will be held on Sunday, Oct 3rd at 2:00 p.m., at Cherry Hills Community Church,  in the Dixon Chapel located at 3908 Grace Blvd, Highlands Ranch, CO 80126
