Rita Mae Shank

Rita Mae (Flake) Shank, passed away May 4, 2012 at the age of 84. She was preceded in death by her husband, John Winroe Shank, Jr. who passed in 2004.

Rita is survived by her daughters, Joyce (Dean) White and Jan (Steve) Brooks. Her grandchildren, Rebecca (Steve) Pulawa, Christopher (Lorna) White, Jennifer (Mike) Powers, Kayleen (Jeff) Sharp and Gina Culbertson and 7 great grandchildren.

A public visitation will be held Tuesday from 4:00 to 6:00 pm with a Rosary following at 6:00 pm, Horan & McConaty Family Chapel, 11150 E. Dartmouth Ave. (at Parker Rd.) in Aurora.

A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Wednesday, at 10:00 am at Queen of Peace Catholic Church, 13120 E. Kentucky Ave., in Aurora with burial following at Fort Logan National Cemetery, Area B, at 1:30 pm.
