Robert V. Behrent

Robert V. Behrent passed away peacefully on September 15, 2004. The son of Ralph and Effie Behrent, he was born in Regar Kansas, February 26, 1921. He was the graduate of Selden High School in Kansas, class of 1938, and continued on to receive a Bachelor's degree of Science in Electrical Engineering in 1948. A proud WWII veteran and a respected Denver businessman, he founded the Behrent Engineering Company, a Denver firm in 1962. He was a 50 year Masonic member of the Rocky Mountain Chapter, Denver Consistory. He was married to Billie Mae Naylor in 1950, and was the father to three children, Craig R. Behrent, Chris B. Tilliss and Carl D. Behrent. His brother, Paul Behrent, three children, and three grandchildren, Andrea Tilliss, Jaimie Behrent, and Hayley Behrent, survives him. Memorial services will be held Monday, September 20 at 2:00 at the Horan McConaty on Parker Rd. and Dartmouth. Donations in his honor can be made to American Cancer Society or the Alzheimer's Research Foundation.
