Robert Paul Biddinger (better known as Bob) passed away on June 28, 2015 in Parker, Colorado at age 91. He was born on March 4, 1924 in Beloit, Kansas, the son of Paul and Helen (Heacock) Biddinger. Bob served in the Army during World War II as a radio operator. While on furlough he became reacquainted with classmate Betty Lou Morrell. Before he had to report back to his unit, they were married on October 8, 1945. They would have been married 70 years this year. With an entrepreneurial spirit, Bob moved his family to the Denver area in 1955 where he opened a shirt laundry and dry cleaning business near the original Elitch Gardens. During the 1970s he became a realtor and real estate broker. A salesman at heart, his later career was in automotive sales. He enjoyed gardening, listening to smooth jazz, and reading audio books. Bob is survived by his wife Betty; sons Scott (Patsy) of Akron, Ohio and Larry of Boulder, Colorado, daughter Paula (Mrs. Terry Lasky) of Centennial, Colorado; granddaughter Mary and her children, Gabriella and Raymond, of Akron, Ohio. Graveside service will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Thursday, July 2, 2015, at Olinger Crown Hill Cemetery.
