Robert William Brannberg 1924-2016 Bob Brannberg entered his heavenly home surrounded by his family on November 4, 2016. He was just short of his 92nd birthday. Bob left behind Betty, his loving wife of 69 years, and four children: Marlene (Bill) Mullins, Mary Marie (who died in infancy), Randy (Janet) Brannberg, Barry (Judy) Brannberg. His legacy of faith, love and devotion was passed on to his seven grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren. After being raised in Illinois, Bob proudly served in the army during WWII and was one of the first troops to enter Japan. His love of young people led him to a career as a high school teacher and coach for the Denver Public Schools and a volunteer in many youth activities. Later he helped design the Willow Springs Golf Course and development. Bob lived a life of steady, unwavering faith in God. He was passionate about golf and the Chicago Cubs, who won the World Series for him. He will be deeply missed by his family and friends.
