Robert Brennenstuhl

Robert Charles “Bob” Brennenstuhl, age 83, of Castle Rock, CO, went home to be with his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ on August 29, 2022 in Castle Rock, CO.

He was born on March 3, 1939 in Russell, KS to John and Ruth Brennenstuhl. Bob served his country in the U.S. Coast Guard for 4 years, followed by 33 years of service before retiring from Lockheed Martin.

He has been a resident of Castle Rock since 2007 having moved from Evergreen, CO. He married Sarah on January 7, 1983 in Evergreen.

Survived by his wife Sarah; his daughters; Misty Maez, of Aurora, CO, Jennifer Peterman, of Aurora, CO, his stepdaughters; Kimberly (Mike) Pirog, of Highlands Ranch, CO, Amy Jackson, of Greeley, CO.

Also surviving are ten grandchildren, one sister; Sandee Williamson, of Aurora, CO, three brothers; Dick (Linda) Brennenstuhl, of Canon City, CO, Randy (Crystal) Doggett, of Aurora, CO, Jeff Doggett, of Leroy, KS, and numerous nieces and nephews.

Preceded in death by his parents John and Ruth Brennenstuhl; his stepson Jerry Harris.

Funeral service will be on Saturday, September 10, 2022 at 4:00pm at Horan & McConaty, 5303 E. County Line Road, Centennial, CO 80122. Graveside service will be on Wednesday, September 21, 2022 at 11:30am at Fort Logan National Cemetery (Staging Area-B), 4400 W. Kenyon Avenue, Denver, CO 80236.
