Robert Eugene Clipson, 95, of Denver, passed away on September 16, 2011. He learned to fly airplanes in Dayton, Ohio while completing an Apprenticeship in Electrical Engineering at the Fridgidaire Corporation. Bob retired from United Airlines in 1976 after a career of 40 years in the aviation industry having served as a Civilian Flight Instructor, an Instructor for Army and Navy Aviation Cadets, Pilot Training Officer and Plane Commander for the Naval Air Transport Service and a Vice President General Manager of TACA International Airlines, the Flag Carrier of El Salvador. Bob became interested in parliamentary law and procedures in 1980 while serving as a Region Officer in WBCCI, the Recreational Vehicle Club of Airstream Owners. Bob became a member of National Association of Parliamentarions in 1984, was elevated to Professional Registered Parliamentarian in 1991. He is survived by his wife JimClaire, whom he married in Jackson, Mississippi in 1941, and numerous nieces & nephews. He was preceded in death by his daughter Claudia Jean Sinclair, his parents Louis and Hazel Clipson of Dayton, Ohio, and his brother, Richard. Memorial Services will be held on Tuesday, September 27, 2011, at 3:oo PM, at Univeristy Park United Methodist Church, located at 2180 South University Boulevard, Denver, Colorado 80210.
