Robert Wilson Crandell

Robert ""Bob"" was born on January 7, 1923 to John and Winifred (Horan) Crandell in Denver, CO. He attended Presentation Grade School and West High School. He served in the South Pacific in the US Army from 1943-1945. He married Mary Marcella (Mudd) Crandell on April 15, 1950. Bob worked as a plumber in Denver for 60 years and owned Crandell Plumbing. Together, Bob and Marcella raised 6 children. He was a founding member of Our Lady of Lourdes Parish where he volunteered for countless years. His greatest joy was his family. He is survived by his children, Mary Carol (Dave) Ferrera, Bob, David, Donald (Teresa), Gregg (Jeannie), 7 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, son Christopher, and 3 brothers. A Recitation of the Rosary will be held on Sunday, January 21, 2018 at 3:00PM at Horan & McConaty Funeral Home, 1091 S. Colorado Blvd. Denver, CO. A Funeral Mass will be held on Monday, January 22, 2018 at 10:00AM at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church, 2200 S. Logan St. Denver, CO. A Reception for friends will be held immediately following the Mass. Entombment will take place at Mt. Olivet Cemetery the same day at 2:00PM.
