Robert J Crouse (Bob) of Lone Tree, CO died peacefully at his family home on March 23, 2018 after a long battle with Dementia and was 70. Bob was preceded in death by John B Crouse (Father), Catherine M OâConnell (Mother) and John Crouse (Brother). Bob was born in Munich, Germany and grew up in Sacramento and later lived in Danville, CA. His youth was filled with friends and sports. He went to El Camino High School and was an All-State Quarterback before graduating from the University of California, Santa Barbara. During his time at UCSB, he served as Counsel for Sigma Chi Fraternity (Zeta Kappa Chapter), and made life-long friendships with his brothers of Sigma Chi. After college Bob married Jacque on July 1, 1972 and enjoyed 45+ years of marriage. Bob worked for Pacific Bell for over 20 years until he moved to Wheaten, IL where he was Vice President for the Budget Corporation. He retired as a Senior Consultant for AG/ADP. His passions were coaching, golfing, dancing, and loving his three girls. (Jacque, Amy, and Kati). He was a true competitor and loved sports and for those that knew him, he had a few signature dance moves - - His most famous was his âdouble flying drop knee kickâ. Bob loved spending time with his three grandkids (Jackson, Wesley, and Wyatt) and he was the best âPapaâ a grandkid could ask for. Bob was a kind and humble soul who had a twinkle in his eye, a smile with a bit of mischief behind it, and a great sense of humor and a love for laughter. Bob is survived by his wife Jacque, their children Amy (Eric) and Kati (Andy), grandchildren Jackson, Wesley and Wyatt, and his siblings Mary Crouse Zimmerman, Tom Crouse, and Jean Crouse. We will miss you! You will be forever in our hearts! If desired, memorial contributions may be made to Denver Hospice in lieu of flowers.
