71, of Parker, CO. Passed away January 2, 2011 at his home. Born July 12, 1939 in Anamosa, IA. to Thomas W. and Norma (Norton) Davidson. Bob lived in Anamosa, IA. until the age of 14 then moved to Lost Nation, Iowa. He graduated from Lost Nation High School in 1958. Robert wed Sandra Lee Mayberry on June 10, 1960. He worked for Clinton Engines for a short time and was then employed by ALCOA Aluminum for 42 years in Bettendorf, IA. After retiring in 2000 he moved to Parker, CO. to live with his daughter. He was a volunteer for 5 years at the Parker Task Force, which is the local food bank. Robert enjoyed trips to the mountains, vacations in Las Vegas, NASCAR, fishing with friends, the annual Canada fishing trips with Don Churchhill, and spending time with friends and family. He was preceded in death by his wife, Sandra and his parents. Survived by his Daughter Cynthia of Parker, CO. Three sisters, Deolores (Robert) Eilers, Betty (Jack) Colehour of Anamosa, IA. and Cheryl (Paul) Browne of LaSalle, CO. Numerous nieces and nephews. A Celebration of Bob's Life will be held 3:00 PM - Thursday - January 6, 2011 at Parker Evangelical Presbyterian Church in Parker, CO. Interment will be at Smithtown Cemetery, Lost Nation, Iowa. Donations are requested to be sent to the Parker Task Force.
