Robert 'Bob' Charles Davis

Robert Davis, 89, passed away March 14, 2012, while at the Life Care Center in Evergreen. Born February 28, 1923 in Trenton, New Jersey, he was the son of Charles L. and Catherine (Rein) Davis. Bob served as an Electrician's Mate First Class in the U.S. Navy during WWII, worked in the electrical field for several companies and during the last 25 years of his career was an Electrical Design Engineer for Johns Manville Corporation. During his retirement he was an avid birder with the Tuesday Birders and Evergreen Audobon Society, hiker, fisherman and master furniture woodworker. He is survived by his wife, Jessie (Yenny) Davis; his children, Bonnie Davis Burnett, Robert E.(Jan) Davis, and Kathleen ""Kathe"" Davis, Kenneth N. (Lisa) Davis; grandchildren, Benjamin, Jeffrey and Maya. A family memorial service will be held in Evergreen later in the Spring, 2012.
