Robert F. Eldredge

Robert Frank Eldredge, lovingly known as Bob, was born on January 2nd of 1946 in Upper Darby Pennsylvania to George & Mable Eldredge. He had two brothers, George & John. Robert had lived in Oregon, Utah and Colorado, but spent most of his years in Denver, CO. While in Colorado he attended the Community College of Denver (1977 & 1978). Where he earned Associate Degrees in Science Fire Technology and Fire Prevention. In 1968 he was a fireman for the city of Glendale, CO. He transitioned to Cunningham, CO volunteer Fire Department where he ended his firefighting career. In 1982, Bob started his own company, SSI Emergency Equipment, which he built from the ground up. SSI catered to mostly Colorado Firemen, Police Officers, Security Personnel and Paramedics. Overtime he expanded across the United States. He successfully ran his company until he retired 35 years later. While looking ahead to retirement he sold his company, of which is still open today. He joined Fire Safety Services to continue to provide his extensive knowledge and experience to their staff and customers. If you needed advice or direction on a particular type of equipment, Bob is the man, as he had most likely “been there and done that!” Bob was known for his love of his church, the Denver Broncos (TD, ALL THE WAY!), poker, and anything to do with firefighting, but his main love was for his family. Bob was preceded in death by his parents (George & Mable), his brother (John), and his wife, Barbara Mosby-Eldredge. Those left to cherish his memory are, His brother George Eldredge (Oregon), His Children: Robert (Bob JR) Eldredge- wife Joann(Oregon), Robbin Eldredge - Finance’ Lew Kiner Jr (Colorado), George Eldredge - wife Sylvia (Colorado), Penelope Eldredge (Florida), Tim Eldredge - wife Lidia (Colorado). His Step-Children: Thomas Sisneros, Clifford Sisneros, and Debbie Sisneros. Bob dearly loved all of his many grandchildren as well as a host of nieces, nephews, friends and all of the thousands of people he serviced at SSI. A Memorial Service to honor Robert's life will be held on Tuesday April 10, 2018 at 10:00 AM at Immanuel Lutheran Church, 3695 S. Acoma St, Englewood, CO 80110. The family also invites family and friends to join them for a reception following the service at Immanuel Lutheran Church.
