FOX, ROBERT THOMAS 'TOM' 48, of Lakewood, died on May 7, 2007. Born in Oklahoma City, OK, on June. 16, 1958. Husband of Randy, married nine years ago this June 6. They were inseparable for nearly 20 years. Brother of James, Bill, Patrick, Charles, Mark, Mary Margaret; predeceased by his parents and one brother; Dad to the 'kids': dogs Lucy and Frankie; and cat Misty. Tom spent part of his childhood in 'Father Flanagan's Boy's Town' in Nebraska, where he finished his high school education. Throughout his life, Tom had an insatiable thirst for knowledge. He completed his apprenticeship at Red Rocks Community College, and then worked as a carpenter for Jefferson County. Seen about town on his new red Vespa, Tom found any excuse to be outdoors, even riding his bicycle to and from work. He also loved driving his 'big 'Ëol pick-up truck' and took it camping with the dogs. In his spare time, Tom skied at Arapahoe Basin; 'puttered around ' the yard, remodeled the house, and made the best mix CDs for his many friends. Tom will be remembered for 'being a stinker' - with his great stories that made everyone laugh. He had a joke for every occasion. He will be cherished for his wonderful smile, and loving heart.
