Robert E. ""Dr. Bob"" Froehlich

December 1, 1942 — May 23, 2016

Born in Milwaukee, WI, Bob passed away after a brief illness, in the company of his family on May 23 at age 73. Bob moved his family to Grafton in 1974, and the family attended Grace Lutheran Church. Dr. Bob built Grafton Small Animal Hospital in 1977, and he continued as the owner until 1989, when he sold the clinic and took a position with the American Animal Hospital Association in Denver, CO. After leaving AAHA, Bob went on to establish Summit Veterinary Advisors in Lakewood, CO, where he served as a consultant for veterinarians around the world.

He is survived by his wife Virginia “Ginny”; children Karen and son-in-law Gregg Hartmann, Andrew and girlfriend Wendy, and William; grandchildren Emma, Owen, Noah, & Ella; brother Allan and his wife Mary Ellen (in Waukesha); and many other loving family members and friends.

A Memorial Service will be held in Bob’s honor on Sunday, June 12th at Abiding Hope Church, 6337 S Robb Way, Littleton, CO. The family respectfully requests that attire be colorful in nature.
