Robert D. Garner

Robert D. Garner born in 1927 in Omaha, Nebraska. He grew up in Duluth, Minnesota and La Crosse, Wisconsin. Mr. Garner served in the U.S. Army in the Pacific. He was a Forestry Graduate of the University of Minnesota. He married Dorris O. Carnley in 1956. She died in 1999. Mr. Garner was a 35 year Bell Telephone System Employee of Western Electric Company and Bell Communication’s Research, Inc.

He is survived by their son, Robert Grayson of Northglenn, Colorado; their daughter, Emily K. Lick of Yakima, Washington; and two grandchildren.

Mr. Garner is preceded in death by a sister, Beverly G. Williams of Oceanside, California.

At Mr. Garner’s request, no services will be held. His final resting place will be Fort Logan National Cemetery.
