Robert Roy Gaul

Westminster, Colorado

It is with great sadness to announce the loss of Robert Roy Gaul II on 7/25/24. He died peacefully, surrounded by family and friends. He was 57. He was born in Lancaster, PA to parents Robert and Barbara. The family moved to Tucson, AZ when Bob was 7 with his sisters Rhonda and twin Roxanne. There he met his long-time childhood friend Keith and wife Rhonda. He and Rhonda eventually settled in Colorado and had 2 children, Robert and Shelby. Bob started working for CDOT around this time and was with them for more than 25 years. After his marriage with Rhonda ended he met and married Beth but this marriage also came to an end. Bob moved to Westminster. He met the love of his life, Mary on EHarmony. They just celebrated 3 years together and were looking forward to retiring in North Carolina. They shared a love like no other! Bob was a competitive bodybuilder when he was younger, an avid fan of the Pittsburgh Steelers, UFC, Wrestlemania, Strong Man Competition and boxing. He is survived by his true love Mary, son Robert, daughter Shelby, their spouses Angela and Austin. Grandchildren Xander, Remington, Judith, Phoenix and Ivan. Sisters Roxanne and Rhonda along with his extended family in Tucson, Keith, his mother Laurie and sisters Barbara and Debbie. Many friends from CDOT including Larry and Val Reed. He was preceded in death by his parents. No words can say how much we will miss him!  A Celebration of Life service will be held at Horan & McConaty, 7577 W. 80th Ave. Arvada, CO 80003 on Saturday August 3, 2024 @ 1PM. Refreshments to follow. In leu of flowers a tree may be planted in Bob’s name via the website.
