Bob was born in Tomahawk, Wisconsin and graduated from the University of Wisconsin. He was a Veteran of World War II, serving in North Africa and Italy. He received his law degree from the University of Wisconsin and served in the JAG Corp as a Major during the Korean War. He practiced law in Denver for over 50 years, including 20 years with his daughter. He was active in both the Colorado and Wisconsin Bar Associations, and was a Master Mason member of the Oriental Lodge. He was a member of the El Jebel Shriners, and participated in the sports car club. He is survived by his wife, Bess, of 67 years, and by his son, Dr. Hans Hansen, his daughter, Judy Holmes, four grandchildren and one great grandson. He loved skiing, boating, and even skydiving at age 81, and was a longtime member of the Arvada Methodist Church. He is very loved and he will be missed.
Celebration of Life Friday, December 28, 2018, 12:00 pm, Horan & McConaty, 3101 S. Wadsworth Blvd., Lakewood, CO 80227. Visitation 1 hour prior to service. Interment 1:30 pm, fort Logan National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations to Shriners Hospital for Children, 1275 E. Fairfax Road, Salt Lake City, UT 84103
