Robert Harold Hardin

age 82, passed away November 4, 2009. He is survived by his wife of 58 years, Joan; daughter, Patricia; sons: Robert, William (Kathy), Thomas (Loraine) and Michael (Sue); 6 grandchildren; brother, Stanley Hardin. Born March 25, 1927 in Gordon, NE Robert progressed from the covered wagon on the sand hills of Nebraska to engineering systems for the space shuttle. Graduated Tau Beta Pi from the University of Illinois, earning a Bachelor's Degree and a Master's Degree in Electrical Engineering. He worked 37 years in the Aerospace Industry, 5 years for Hughes Aircraft, 3 years for Boeing and 29 years with Martin Marietta. Recitation of the Rosary, Sun. 6:00PM, Horan & McConaty Family Chapel, 3101 S. Wadsworth Blvd., Lakewood. Funeral Mass, Mon. 10:30AM, St. Frances Cabrini Catholic Church, 6673 W Chatfield Ave., Littleton with burial following at Chapel Hill Cemetery. Donations to the American Cancer Society, 2255 S.
