Robert William Hill

It is with great sadness that the family of Robert William Hill announces his passing on Thursday, March 8, 2018, at the age of 73 years in Littleton CO from Parkinson’s. Bob had an extensive career in the lumber industry that took him from Michigan to Oregon, Idaho, Washington and Colorado. He was a loving husband, father and friend, who cherished spending time with his family, loved nature and the great outdoors and a good bowl of ice cream. Bob was dearly loved and will be forever remembered by his wife of 45 years, Lynne and his children Caitlin Curtin (Vince), Suzanne King (Kyle), Francesca Taylor (Jordan), Stephanie (Geno) and Bobby. Bob will also be remembered by his five grandchildren, Roman, Ava, Keira, Eleanor, and Jack and by his sister Laurie, and brothers, Tom (Michelle), Dan (Natalie), Fred (Diana) and Ed. Bob was preceded in death by his sisters Suzanne Paval and Margaret and dear friend Harriet Zalke. A Funeral Mass in memory of Bob will be held Monday, March, 19 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Mark Catholic Church, 9905 Foothills Canyon Blvd, Highlands Ranch, CO 80129 with Father Brian Mohan and Deacon Garrett Christnacht officiating. Following the funeral mass there will be a military service at Fort Logan National Cemetery.
