Robert Henry Hoying, January 9, 1947 – February 28, 2024, He was 77. He graduated from Greenville High School and went on to proudly served our country in the Navy where he traveled the world. After the Navy he majored in Mathematics at Wright State University in Dayton, OH. There he met the love of his life Joanie. He began his career as a computer programmer at NCR, which took him to St. Louis, MO; where he eventually became the CIO of Contico International. He was a loving and devoted husband, father and grandfather. He enjoyed: baseball, golf, watching Ohio State football, playing all sorts of games with family, goofing off for his grandkids and getting together with his close friends for belly laughs, food and drinks. Those who knew and loved “Good Time Bob” or “Bobby Boy,” will never forget his infectious smile and laughter. He will be deeply missed. He is survived by his wife, Joanie, their daughter, Heather, and three grandchildren. He is also survived by four siblings. He was preceded in death by his parents and two siblings. A celebration of life ceremony will be held in Ohio, date is TBD.
