Robert James Huber

Robert was born on February 9, 1927 to Fred and Margaret Huber and spent most of his life in the Alexandria, South Dakota area. He married Marilyn Lassegard on October 15, 1946. They raised three children on a farm north of Alex and eventually moved to Colorado in 1983 where Robert worked for Cherry Creek School District before retiring in 1997. Robert was preceded in death by his parents, his brothers, Donald, Raymond, Lawrence and Edward, and his wife. He is survived by his children, Cheri (Bill) Phelps, Bobbi (Bob) Riggs, Pete (Jeri) Huber, all of Aurora, Colorado; 12 grandchildren and 19 great grandchildren. He is also survived by his two sisters, Helen Wenande of Brookings, SD and Mildred (James) Wenande of Alexandria, SD. Robert passed away on March 8, 2010 in Aurora, CO. The family will receive friends Thursday, March 11, 5-7 PM at Horan & McConaty Funeral Home. Funeral Mass will be Friday, March 12, 11 AM at St. Michael the Archangel Catholic Church, 19099 E.
