Robert ""Bob"" C. Irey

Robert C. “Bob” Irey, 93, of Littleton passed away on Monday, May 28,2018 at his home surrounded by his loving family. He was born on December 11, 1924 in Salem, OH. Bob married Betty Putzbach on September 7th 1946 and together they shared 62 years of marriage before Betty passed away. Bob worked as an engineer at Martin Marietta but spent most of his working life as owner of Dunton Realty. Bob enjoyed traveling, biking, tennis and golf. He is survived by his children: David Irey and his wife Linda, Sue Wilk and her husband Steven, and Dan Irey and his wife Susan; grandchildren, Jeremy and his wife, Wendy, Michael, Matthew, Jennifer, Ashley, and Aaron and his wife, Kha-ai and great grandchildren, Andrew and Isaac. The Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, June 7, 2018 at 9:00am at Cherry Hills Community Church, 3900 Grace Blvd., Highlands Ranch, CO 80126, followed by a reception and then burial with Military Honors at Fort Logan National Cemetery at 12PM, 3698 S. Sheridan Blvd. Denver, CO 80236. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Agape Hospice or the Alzheimer's Association..
