Robert Lafemina

Robert LaFemina, known as Bob to family and friends, died in Denver on April 28, 2022 at age 91.  Bob was born in November 1930 in Chicago, Illinois, the youngest of four children.   He grew up Chicago and earned his bachelor's degree from the University of Illinois.   Bob served two years in the Army during the Korean war where he was stationed at a hospital unit.  After an honorable discharge from the Army, he worked in the publishing industry as an internal auditor.  His career had him living and working in many cities including Chicago, San Francisco, and New York where he met his wife Theresa.  After they wed, Bob and Theresa settled in Denver.   Bob retired from publishing in 1988 and moved with his family to Phoenix where Bob worked in real estate for many years.

Survivors include his daughter Adrienne LaFemina in San Francisco, California and his son Darren LaFemina in Denver, Colorado.  He was preceded in death by his son Robert LaFemina, his beloved wife Theresa and his siblings Annabelle (Dolly) Riemma, Gilbert LaFemina and Constance (Cookie) Sorrentino.

Funeral services will be held on May 20, 2022 at 11:00 am at the Chapel at the Horan & McConaty funeral home at 1091 South Colorado Boulevard (at Mississippi Avenue), Denver, Colorado.   Visitation will begin at 10:00 am at the Chapel.  Burial will be at Mt. Olivet Cemetery 12801 West 44th Avenue, Wheat Ridge, Colorado at 1:00 pm.
