Robert Kenneth Langerak passed away at his home in Westminster on September 18, 2013. Robert, AKA ""Bob"", ""Buck"" was born on January 16, 1933 in Monroe, Iowa. He was preceded in death by his wife, Cecilia and is survived by his four children: Stephen (Debra), Kathryn, David, and Paul; six grandchildren: Megan, Molly, Jessica, Claire, David, and Jack; and numerous nieces and nephews. As a young boy, his family moved to Colorado. There he met and fell in love with his wife of 48 years, Cecilia Virginia Ursini, and became very close with her large Italian family. They raised their four children in Northwest Denver, Erie and Westminster. Robert retired in 1988 from Lucent Technology, formerly known as Mountain Bell. He was able to play golf, travel with Cecilia and enjoy watching his grandchildren grow into amazing adults. His greatest joy was moving his family to a small farm in Erie. That was his dream, to raise his kids in the country. With the help of Cecilia and his four children they were able to manage their 6, 000-chicken egg business and the many other animals they acquired throughout the years. Robert taught his children the meaning of hard work through his actions. He was a great provider who always put his family first. Robert will be terribly missed by his family. They are left with fond memories of a hard-working man that loved his family and was never afraid to show it. In lieu of a memorial, the family requests you make a contribution to the charity of your choice, or pay it forward in some way in Robert's honor.
