Robert “Bob” Kenneth LeVin was born in Chicago, Illinois on March 17, 1931, and entered into eternal life on July 28, 2024. Bob earned his bachelor’s degree from the University of Wisconsin in 1953. He served in the United States Navy for eight years and then moved to Colorado in 1958, where he met and married Shirley Ann Hartman in 1964. Bob worked as an Administrator and Controller at the Cody Dental Group, Gates Rubber Company, Presbyterian St. Lukes Hospital, and a medical practice in Colorado Springs before retiring.
Bob is survived by his sister Jean Line, son Scott LeVin, daughter Wendy (Tim) Campbell, grandson Robert “Bobby” LeVin, nieces, nephews, and many good friends. Bob was preceded in death by his wife of 52 years Shirley, daughter-in-law Sonia, and granddaughter, Jordan.
Bob enjoyed baseball, football, swimming, playing pool, and being outdoors on the deck with friends, but his greatest passion in life was the game of golf-even achieving the ever-elusive hole-in-one…twice! He enjoyed nothing more than a day on the golf course but if that wasn’t possible, watching it on television was the next best thing. Bob loved listening to music and spending time laughing with family and friends. His bright smile will be greatly missed.
Bob was a gentle, kind, classy, sincere, witty, and compassionate man who loved dogs. He was a devoted husband and father who cared deeply about the happiness and well-being of his family.
A Memorial service will be held on Saturday, August 17, 2024 at 11:00 a.m. at St Philip Lutheran Church, 7531 S. Kendall Blvd. Littleton, CO, 80128, with reception to follow.
