Robert Scocchera

Robert James Scocchera, also known as Bobby, passed away on June 2, 2023 at the age of 45 in Aurora, Colorado. He was born on December 2, 1977 in New Castle, Pennsylvania. Bobby was a beloved husband, father, son, brother, uncle, and friend to many.

Bobby had a heart of gold and was always willing to lend a helping hand. He was a friend to all and touched the lives of so many people. Bobby loved bbqing, watching his son DJ live at festivals, walking his dog Rocky, and just being around his family. He was passionate about his work in Property Management and had dreams of starting his own business one day.

Bobby graduated from Austintown Fitch High School in Ohio in 1996 and served in the United States Army as a Military Police Officer. He was proud of his military service and association with the Army.

Bobby is survived by his wife Michele Renee Scocchera, his son Corbin Michael Scocchera, his mother Tammy Lynn Scocchera (Retort), his maternal grandfather Rudy R. Retort, his sister Angela C. Carver (Scocchera), his brother Joseph N. Scocchera, his sister Elizabeth A. Soriano (Scocchera) and her spouse Juan B. Soriano, his nephews Armando Arteaga, Alec Norris, Dominic Scocchera, Kaven Carver, Johna Scocchera, and Juan Soriano Jr., and his nieces Serenity Scocchera and Natalie Soriano. He was preceded in death by his father Robert A. Scocchera, his uncle Michael Scocchera, his paternal grandfather Alfred Scocchera, his paternal grandmother Sally Scocchera (Higgins), and his maternal step-grandmother Sharon Retort (Robinson) and his maternal grandmother Carolyn Retort (Taylor).

A viewing will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, June 23, 2023, followed by a service at 10:30 a.m. at Calvary Church, located at 18900 E Hampden Ave in Aurora, CO 80013.
