Robert Albert Storjohann was born in Davenport, IA on July 29, 1936. On July 25, 2015, he passed away in his sleep with his wife, Virginia, the love of his life, holding him close. Bob was kind, strong, generous and tender hearted. He was a loving father to his children and their spouses, as well as many others who claimed him as their father when they needed a great dad in their lives - you know who you are. His corny sense of humor remained alive and well throughout his life and his family loved to watch his nose crinkle up until it turned white when he was enjoying a good laugh. Bob's hands were a gift from God and served him and others throughout his life. He was a member of the Army and served in the Korean War. He returned to his job as a carpenter and was the master of seven trades for forty years. He built beautiful homes for his family and long-lasting friendships with many who worked with him over the years. At 55 years old, he changed careers and became a favorite massage therapist to many who loved to have his big hands rub out their aches and pains. Bob loved spending time with family and friends. He enjoyed a full and happy life of dancing with his bride of 38 years, playing euchre, watching his tomato plants grow, admiring fresh flowers and Christmas lights, cheering for his Broncos, frequenting mountain casinos, and giving masterful massages. Bob made a positive difference in the lives of many and would not be pleased that we said this many nice things about him. He is survived by his wife, Virginia Storjohann, children: Kelly Schneckloth (Tom); Reed Storjohann (Shauna); Pam Coffey (Ken); Terry Clark (Anjali); Kim Haycraft (Scott); and Kasey Matz (Tyler). Grandchildren: Shannon Thomas, Nicki Enderle, Katelyn Shank, Derek Storjohann, Olivia Storjohann, Stephanie Haycraft, Briana Haycraft, Cory Spain, Dustin Storjohann, Andrea Ketelsen, Jesse Matz, Ben Coffey, and Kiran Clark and 2 great grandchildren; Lainey Thomas and Eli Roggenbuck, and siblings Janice Peters, Kathleen Conklin, and Dan Storjohann (Darla).
