Robert James Thomas, 7/26/1921-7/31/2020, 99 years young. Passed away at Swedish Hospital.
Bob was born in New Bethlehem, PA. He lived his most vibrant years in Denver, CO and was a veteran of World War II. His professional life was spent perfecting inventory and sales for Eastman Kodak and VWR. He officially retired at the age of 87 after starting an accidental lawn care business. Outside of work, his life was a verb, it was action, and adventure, laughter and love. It was helicopter tours over the grand canyon, lunches at Black Eyed Pea, trips to the Y, late night ponderings over the state of the world, and endless problem solving. His was a mind on fire and blazing bright. He loved fiercely, raising six children over several generations, and was always progressive and up to speed. He was a champion sudoku player, and a quippy companion to friends far and near. He is survived by those who were fortunate to know his smile, warmth, and mischievous giggle. He loved long talks, boxed wine, and fresh air.
Services will be held when the world can move with more freedom and ease from the Corona Virus. Look out- it's going to be a party!
