Robert K. ""Bob"" Ware

Robert K. ""Bob"" Ware, born December 6, 1930, Dallas, TX and died March 16, 2013 in Aurora, CO, after a brief illness. Bob grew up in Texas and attended the University of Texas. He obtained his doctorate degree in ceramic engineering at Ohio State University. In 1954, he married Virginia Greene, later Arapahoe County Family Court Magistrate Virginia Ware. She preceded him in death after 54 years of marriage. After retiring from the Colorado School of Mines, Bob created an online dictionary search engine that continues to be used by public school students nationwide (OneLook.com). He retired from managing this website at the age of 80. Ware is survived by his brothers Ray Ware and Ronald Ware, and three children, Jim Ware (Dawn Coskey), Janette Stalemo (Paul) and Joan Ware (Sokha Sein). Also four grandchildren, Brian Stalemo, Maitri Day, Michelle Stalemo and Charya Sein-Ware. Services are will be held on Sunday March 24, 2013, at 2 pm at Eastern Hills Community Church 25511 E. Smoky Hill Rd, Aurora, CO 80016. Donations may be made to CASA (Court Appointed Special Advocates) at 1660 South Albion Street, #309, Denver, CO 80222.
