Robert Sumner Webber
April 14, 1939 – December 15, 2021
Robert “Bob” Sumner Webber passed away on December 15, 2021 at the age of 82. Bob graduated from Duke University in 1962 with a BS in Political Science and later earned a Masters in Personnel Management from George Washington University. He went on to serve in the US Navy until 1965. He married his wife of 58 years, Suzanne (nee Bull) on March 24, 1963. After the Navy, he spent his career in the banking industry as a Human Resources Executive until he retired in 2001.
Bob enjoyed biking, skiing, golfing, and traveling. He was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, and loyal friend to many. He also had a special place in his heart for his faithful dog companions over the years. He was a devoted Christian and was involved in his church through many capacities, most recently as an usher.
Bob is survived by his wife, Suzanne, his children Virginia (Chris) Swiatek and Catherine (Ken) Williams, his grandchildren Sara (David) Castro and Ryan Swiatek, his sister Julie Webber Shelburne, and his niece and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents Donald and Alice Webber.
A private ceremony at Ft. Logan Cemetery will precede a 2:00 PM memorial service on January 15, 2022 at Holly Creek Retirement Community, 5500 Peakview Ave Centennial, CO 80121.
