As life came full circle, this was also where he spent his last days and passed away peacefully, at Denver Hospice.
The family has planned a private family service and burial at Fort Logan. In lieu of flowers the family asks for donations to Denver Hospice. The link is below. Denver Hospice is a not-for-profit organization and is a place of peace, kindness, serenity and comfort. The family felt cared for and Bob was treated with dignity and compassion. The nurses at Denver Hospice, during his 5 days there, were incredibly helpful and this painful part of life felt less difficult to navigate because of their knowledge and kindness. The family felt it was like home and were welcome to stay as if it were.
